I live and breathe running and exercise. I dont just coach, I practice what I preach. 

I have over 17 years experience in the fitness industry. A level 3 personal trainer and A certified running technique coach. I have a huge passion for running. My aim is to get as many people as possible enjoying running while staying injury free. I have a background in strength and conditioning and that was my main focus until I found my love for running in 2012. Since then I have completed 48 half marathons (best time currently being 1:18:50)  and 3 full marathons. I use my knowledge in strength and conditioning to keep myself injury free and more importantly my clients injury free. Currently 12 years as a runner and I have not had an injury due to training principles and philosophy that I apply for myself and my clients. Mindset is a huge part of what I do. I am obsessed with finding new ways to break barriers for my clients and help them overcome anything that is holding them back. I would love to work with you, love to be your mentor and coach you on your incredible journey.

1-2-1 RUNNING COACHING. 

Perfect your form and run for longer and faster.

Work on your personal goals each week.1-2-1 coaching including interval training, paced running, hill training and much more. I can come to you or train you at a variety of locations including South Hill park and Ascot racecourse as two of my regular training venues. All packages include a weekly schedule and help and support whenever you need it. Block bookings and a monthly standing order available.

1st class pacing service.

I will be your personal pacer on raceday. I will help you achieve the time you want, keep you motivated, travel with you to the event to get you focused mentally upon request and even carry your drink for you.

THE 6AM RUNNING CLUB. 

Committed to Quality

Join my 6am running groups ideal for beginners to intermediate level. I will show you how to run properly so you can run more efficiently with less risk of injury. Each session will be catered for each individual group. The 6am running club is on every Tuesday and Thursday morning and we always meet at South Hill Park. Come as many times as you like per month, Pay the set monthly fee and thats it.

THE HILL TRAINING CLUB.

Hills are opportunities to improve. 

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7pm we meet at Swinley Forest for an hour's hill training session. Learn how to benefit from regular hill training by using correct technique to minimise injury risk. 

Coaching membership is £50 per month via standing order. (No contract.)

5 WEEK 5K SPEED TRAINING COURSE.

Improve speed, endurance and technique.

A 5 week course for runners looking to achieve a 5k or improve on current 5k.
Course includes a weekly coaching session and all runners will receive training advice and structure during the week too. Courses are held at various local locations throughout the year.

13 WEEK HALF MARATHON TRAINING COURSES.

Committed to Quality.

12 week half marathon group training courses will be on at least twice a year. One in the winter and one in the late spring and summer. 
Minimum requirement to join is you must be able to run 5k without stopping before the first training session.

Single session - £45

4 sessions per month/1 session per week - standing order- £125
8 sessions per month/2 sessions per week - standing order. - £250

5 sessions - £175 one payment. 
10 sessions - £330. one payment.

Personal training in your own home:

Group sessions:
5 week courses: £50
6 week courses £60
12 week courses £120

The 6am run Club:The Hill Training Club and The Interval training club sessions are all available for £50 per month via standing order for unlimited training sessions.

I am so impressed with Simon's running coaching that I need to write this review. I have massively improved my speed and I am running stronger than ever before. I have already broken my 5k and 10k PB's from 2016 which I never thought possible, especially as I had a total hip replacement in June 2017. Simon at Bennison Fitness helped me go from running 20 minutes non-stop to running the London virtual marathon in 14 weeks. Simon was brilliant and kept me sane during training and injury free and I exceeded my expectations for my finish time! Highly recommend.

I have been training with Simon for about a year and achieved running targets I didn't believe possible, including age graded PB's at 5k and 10k and even completing a half marathon. Simon gave me the confidence and the skills to increase my running distance, pace and endurance over time whilst staying injury free. Training was adapted to me and Simon gave loads of good advice and tips and showed me plenty of new routes. I now feel able to join the local running club and I am really enjoying my running. Simon provided great support as I prepared for my first marathon. He designed a well structured training plan that was flexible to my circumstances and gave lots of good advice. The sessions themselves were tough but enjoyable.
